Another handy study tool is a Bible Atlas. A Bible Atlas is a collection of maps of the Holy Land. A good one also contains historical and archeological information. One that I recommend is the Oxford Bible Atlas. It has many pictures of the Holy Land and archeological sites as well.

You use the Bible Atlas to look up geographical locations that you come across in your reading: cities, towns, rivers, mountains etc.

Looking up locations and reading historical material, makes the scriptures come to life. It's no longer just words on a page, but genuine locations on the earth_ very thrilling indeed!

So, I would recommend you get and use a good Bible Atlas to enhance and expand your experience of the Bible and it's history.
