From God’s Point Of View The Number-One Reason Why God Wants Us To Study The Bible

“So We Would Get To Know Him”

Imagine that you are God for a moment. You create the world and all that is in it. You make a creature you call “man.” You place him in a garden paradise and give him a book containing your word to him. Now why would you want man to study your word?       So he could learn about you_right?      So he could get to know you and what you, his creator, would like him to do. That is the number one reason why God gave us His Word the Bible so we would read it and get to know Him.
